Awesome! I'll test it out when I can, but it probably won't be until next week. I'm not sure when I'll be able to get a release done, though - we're currently having issues publishing the package to Maven Central.

@ccutrer for the avoidance of doubt: when you say "tested" do you mean tested on OH v5.2 snapshot? Or is further testing required before the next OH v5.1 patch release?

Tested both an existing bridge, and newly pairing a new bridge, within the latest OH 5.2.0-SNAPSHOT by running mvn install in this repository, and then building a new org.openhab.io.homekit bundle with adjusted dependencies, and making sure the Home app showed the current status of my accessories. I'm currently working on getting a new release of HAP-Java published, but our Maven Central credentials have expired, I was never granted access to Maven Central, and when I last asked (#191) @andylintner (who presumably has said access) did not respond.

v5.1 should not be affected by the problems reported on the forum - I did the change with the Karaf 4.4.9 upgrade after 5.1 was released.

@holgerfriedrich I was just wanting to make sure that any bad changes in 5.2 are not cherry picked back into 5.1
